Each paisley is unique and stands
on its own. A cluster of paisleys creates a wonderfully complex, yet flowing
pattern.
* Boteh: A famous Persian motif that,
in its most simplified form, seems to be a serrated leaf; from the Persian
word for ‘princely flower’. The boteh originated in India and was adopted
throughout the Orient. Experts differ on what it represents: a pine, a
palm, a cluster of leaves or the Sacred Flame of Zoroaster.
